 The "Folegandros Festivities" summer festival started in 2003. Since then it is being organized sometime in mid July every year.
Folegandros Festivities is a part of the generalized "Isolario" Project.
The festival includes exhibitions, music concerts, performances, projections and workshops.
During the festival Folegandros becomes a meeting point for people who share a common interest in art, film making, photography, music, history and so on, in accordance with the themes presented.
Each year, the festival features a project aiming at the preservation of the culture of Folegandros and the surrounding islands. Since 2003 the following projects have been put forward:
These projects have often provided reference material for historians, researchers etc.
