Living Library
The memories of the locals is the living history of the island itself. People are the "living books" where this history is registered. Media dell’ Arte systematically collects personal accounts and interviews by the islanders and creates the Cyclades’ Oral History Archive. This year this process of interviewing is open to the public. One can attend, participate, visit and converse with local people who wish to share their memories and their stories. Through their words an unknown Sikinos will be revealed, unseen from the busy beaches, the night clubs and the "rooms to let".
This project is realized within the "Grundtvig - Living Library - Books 21" European project.
