"Manos Hadjidakis" Festival Xanthi 11.26 - 12.10.2005 Organized by: House of Letters and Fine Arts of the Municipality of Xanthi - Media dell' Arte  The "Manos Hadjidakis" Festival in Xanthi is named after the great Greek composer who was born in the city, and takes place in the latter part of November and the beginning of December every year. Through a series of concerts, performances, exhibitions and other cultural events that take place in several venues of the city, the festival aspires to embrace the most promising part of musical production in Greece and to encourage the cultural exchange and understanding between the different communities that live together in the birthplace of Manos Hadjidakis.
