![]() In 1968, a team of archaeologists with their crew began a series of excavations at Vathi Limenari Cape in Donousa. ![]() vealed a fortressed settlement of the 9th and 8th centuries B.C. and a significant amount of pottery from the Geometric Era. A comparative study of the pottery underlined the Cape's importance in the seaways of its time; Vathi Limenari was a hub of commerce. ![]() material and the chronicles of the excavation are presented for the first time in these two parallel exhibitions. |
